Mohamed Fouad will have his contract
with Rotana accomplished once his upcoming album is out. The record company
was said to communicate extensively with the Egyptian pop star, negotiating
a new 3-year 3-album deal.
Other companies are talking to Fouad too. Busy with
the groundwork for an album due during summer, Fouad says he’s not making a
decision now.
The contract value is estimated to be no less than
$10m, with his Fouad’s longstanding rival Amr Diab paid a $20m under a
5-year contract with Rotana.
